Controls hardware design
Controls design services for nearly any industrial automation process (PLC and PC based architecture). This includes but is not limited to: general assembly equipment; material handling systems; resistance, MIG, stud, braise, and laser welding systems; robotic systems; precision machining systems; and testing/measuring systems. Spectrum produces energy control and safety lockout procedure placards. Spectrum also provides electronics and P.C.B. (printed circuit board) design services.

Software design
Spectrum Engineering's greatest strength lies in software development. Our engineers have vast field experience that has led to perfected software design procedures. Our engineers specialize in microprocessor controlled automation and have broad backgrounds in software development, standardization, debug, and support. Laser tracker inspection/certification
Spectrum provides tool layout, tool certification, part surface inspection, tool repeatability studies, reverse engineering and other measuring services utilizing Faro Laser Trackers. We maintain eight calibrated trackers, three mobile service units (vans), and a broad range of targeting, and measuring accessories.
